I have always admired people with so much creativity that they can think of an idea and go ahead and create something totally new and amazing.

This mom wanted her son to have a ceiling fan that would grow with him over the years and would be one of a kind.

Once she decided on a galaxy fan and then set out to make it happen.

A few coats of paint later she had created something truly original that her son will grow to love. Way to go mom!

She started by cleaning off the original fan blades so they would be easier to paint.

Next the blades were painted black. It’s looking more like a galaxy already!

She used blue and purple spray paint to make spacey looking swirls.

Using a hole punch, she created constellations on the fan and spray painted them white.

Ta-da!

Even the inside of the light got painted!

The finished product is out of this world!

Henry LOVES his fan. I don’t blame him, it’s awesome!
