If you do not know what a kegerator is, after seeing this couple’s, you will join the list of us who need one. Kegerators are draft beer dispensing devices. As the football season gets into full gear, a kegerator is perfect for those Sunday games or maybe you are like this couple and want to use it for a wedding.
If you like beer, there are perfect for every occasion. As important as this device is for some, it can cost a pretty penny, anywhere north of $500! So one man and his fiancé chose not to buy one. Instead they built the most amazing kegerator for their wedding day.
The couple purchased a relatively cheap freezer for $150, and they cut a small hole in the back to install a temperature control. Next, they sawed a hole in the lid so the neck of the tap could be pass through.

To decorate their kegerator, the couple went for a rustic look. They used old barn wood and corrugated metal for the panels. Next, they applied a layer of silicone to bolt the tower that holds the tap in place. This ingenious couple used Velcro to attach the panels on three sides of the freezer. The back was left as is for ventilation.

They constructed a matching piece for the top of the freeze, one that would accommodate the spout. After some more Velcro, matching handles, and a catch for the taps, their project was complete.
