One trend I can fully get behind this season is fancy slip-on sneakers. Since comfort is key when picking out shoes, these were a no-brainer. One clever woman came up with a crafty way to turn these plain shoes into something fabulous and chic.
To customize your shoes, you will need 1 pair of Canvas-Sneakers—new or used left over material(lace is preferred), material glue, scissors, a razor blade, and a paintbrush.
You will first cut a piece of material to cover the front part of the shoe. This piece of material needs to be larger than the actual measure of the front end.

Next, using a paintbrush, spread glue generously around the area you want to embellish.

When the glue is on and is sticky, apply the material onto the glue using considerable force. Then you will remove all the creases and air bubbles.

For the back end, repeat the above step and follow the same process on the other shoe while waiting for the first one to dry.

Next, using the razor blade, cut away any excess material. Be sure not to slice through the shoe.

There are so many looks you can now apply to those plain white sneakers. How fun!
