She’s Gluing Fabric To The Lid of a Mason Jar. The Results? DIY Mason Jar Pin Cushion That’s Too Cute To Handle!

This DIY craft is both fun and functional. This DIY Mason Jar Pin Cushion is very handy if you want to organize your sewing supplies or make a useful portable sewing kit. The best part is, they only take a few minutes to make! Follow along with Karen to create an easy way to carry not only your pins but thread, needles, and other small sewing tools.

She places the lid of a mason jar on a piece of fabric and cuts a circle around the cover. Get a piece of felt material, and something round that is smaller than the cover of the jar. Cut a small circle using the small item.

Turn the fabric over and place stuffing on top. Then, place your lid on top of that. Glue the fabric onto the bottom of the lid. Karen stuffs more stuffing into the pouch for a firm feel.

She uses the piece of felt circle to cover underneath and then fills the jar with an assortment of thread, needles and other sewing pieces. Finally, she places the ring of the jar through to connect the top, then sticks pins on top. So easy!

Karen isn’t through just yet. She goes through a compilation of incredible HGTV Handmade projects that are just phenomenal. From a rope inspired lamp shade to best buys at a yard sale. These are simply fantastic!
