DIY No-Sew Zipper Case

Bethany Burrows

Teaching kids about recycling is so important and sometimes it can be hard to find fun ways to do that. These adorable little storage cases are made from old plastic bottles and are an easy and fun way to show your kids how to recycle.

These cases are completely customizable and can be made in tons of different sizes. All you need to make your own case is two plastic soda bottles, hot glue and a zipper.

Start by removing any wrappers from your soda bottles and cutting them in half. You will be using the bottom half of your bottles so make sure you do your measuring before you cut!

Use your hot glue to glue down any excess fabric at the top of your zipper. Wrap your zipper around your bottle, leave about an inch of overlap and cut to size. Use your hot glue to attach the zipper to your bottle on both sides. When you’re finished you have a recycled container perfect for crayons, markers, colored pencils and more!

SHARE the love and pass it on!
