Is it just me or have nail trends gotten kind of crazy? It seems like every time I look down, there’s something new and crazy happening in the world of manicures and pedicures. While some of them are downright strange and look sort of painful (looking at you, pointy nails), this new trend of “sand art” nails is actually pretty cool, I must admit.
Thanks to the awesome people over at Studio DIY, your nails can now provide you with a trip down memory lane to 3rd grade art class.
Unfortunately, the nail trend doesn’t involve real sand. Rather, it uses a velvet flocking powder to achieve the textured look.
Sand or no sand, we think this is a pretty cool look, don’t you think?
