On Mother’s Day, Sarah Thistlethwaite received the greatest gift of all, a set of beautiful twin girls. She named them Jillian and Jenna, two powerful names for two thriving babies. They were initially put on ventilators as soon as they were born, but doctors had no doubt these girls would prosper, simply because of the moment they first laid eyes on them.

Because the identical twin girls shared the same amniotic sac and placenta, occurring in only about one of every 10,000 pregnancies, doctors knew this would be a tough pregnancy. But seconds after successfully delivering the baby girls, doctors noticed they were doing something peculiar- something they had never seen before. The twin baby girls were holding hands!
