We can all agree that dogs, for the most part, are wonderful animals and make great additions to any family. They’re loyal, loving, protective and intuitive. Patience is also a virtue many dogs possess; you just have to train them well. This woman has successfully taught her many dogs that very thing.
Each one of the seventeen of her dogs waits until their name is called; without so much as barking or even whining. As soon as she says their name, they trot through the gate, eager to get to whatever awaits them on the other side. Ginger, Nelly, Lexi and their canine pals all cooperate with their owner without hesitation. That is until the very last dog, a golden Lab, hears his name and decides that he’s had enough of waiting around for his owner; he makes her wait on him!
Echo hears his name once or twice and maintains his silent protest with his back turned. This is met with laughter from the woman on film, and the person behind the camera. This probably isn’t the first time he’s met his name with the cold shoulder. Eventually he relents and joins his canine friends on the other side of the fence.
No matter how well you train your dog, you can never train their personality out of them. And why would we want to? That’s the best part of having a dog! Dogs are full of personality. Some of them are hyper, some are relaxed, some are silly and some, like we saw in Echo, are stubborn. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
