One family’s rescue dog is now being honored as a hero after saving the life of the family’s 9-week old daughter. 

After retiring to bed, the Brousseau family were abruptly woken up by their dog, Duke, who jumped up on the bed and began shaking uncontrollably. Due to the bizarre behavior, the couple knew that something was wrong. 

Since Duke had never acted like this before, they decided to check on the baby. Once they walked into Harper’s room, they discovered she wasn’t breathing! They immediately called an ambulance and Harper was fortunately revived by paramedics and taken to the hospital, where she made a full recovery.
