When the fireworks boomed into the night sky, Dora the dog jumped the fence and ran for cover. The scared pup ran away from her loving owner’s backyard, so the deeply saddened family looked everywhere for their missing dog.

They looked high and low, but could not find their lost family member anywhere.

Then in a sudden turn of events, the determined family found Dora – nearly seven months later. Animal services scanned the stray dog’s microchip in Texas and made one exciting discovery.
