Despite the cartoons depicting dogs and cats not getting along, sometimes they really do become the best of friends.

These furry friends had just spent ten days apart from each other and when they were finally reunited the cat did something that her owners did not expect!

She kept reaching up and hugging the dog around the neck as though she was happy he was back and letting him know she didn’t want him to leave again. Although he didn’t hug back, he showed his appreciation with a big tail wag!
