Dogs are intelligent creatures and most of them do not possess a trait of resilience. Meet Kai! Kai is a beautiful German Shepherd with an impeccable fashion sense. Peep her collar. While other dogs chase their balls and bones, it is clear that Kai wants what she can’t have—a root in the ground.

We hear Kai’s owner in the background pleading to forget the immovable object. He can be heard saying, “Come on, Kai, come on, come on let’s go. You can’t get that, it’s a tree root.” Kai pays absolutely no mind as she tugs and pulls at the root that is attached to a tree nearby.

The minute long video shows the frustration of the German Shepherd, and her groans tell it all. Why isn’t it moving? Maybe it looks like a long bone. But it surely does not feel that way.

We can see as she bites into one part of the root, and it almost looks like she can break it, but she moves on to another part and tugs away futilely.

Kai’s conundrum has been viewed by the masses over two million times. I can relate to Kai, I throw the same tantrum when I’m fighting with the weeds in my backyard.
