Seemingly out-numbered, out-witted, and out-matched, an elderly man stands humbly among a group of teen boys. They taunt and threaten as he stands silently, arms crossed, accepting their abuse. The urge to reach through the grainy surveillance video, which captured the ordeal to rescue the lonely, helpless old man is palpable.

And then, the unexpected happens. The accosted man hurdles a powerful blow to the ringleader, knocking him back a few paces. Stunned, the ringleader’s buddy steps forward to put the old man his place. But before he can act, their victim strikes again. The man punches the second guy in the face, knocking him to the ground.

Now, enraged and embarrassed, the first teen gathers himself and prepares to strike the man only to be met with another crushing blow to the head, rendering him temporarily unconscious.

It appears these two drunken men messed with the WRONG man. This swift old man doesn’t just have a good right hook — he’s an ex-boxer!

This video goes beyond the lessons of respecting one’s elders. It surpasses the teachings of the golden rule, “Treat others as you want to be treated”. It is an all-encompassing tale of the power of humility, the merits of kindness, and truth that in the end goodness will be the victor.
