If you are the type to decorate your home with Christmas lights in attempts to make your neighbors jealous, the Johnson family has you beat. It is undoubtedly the best-looking house in any town for the holidays. Decked with more than 7,000 programmed lights, this dubstep light show is beyond incredible.
Matthew Johnson said his holiday light extravaganza of perfectly arranged lights twinkling in unison to Christmas music started in 2013 as a way to entertain his children, Ethan, and Grace, who were 6 and 5 at the time.
Two years and a whole lot of recognition later, Johnson now realizes the effect his craft has on his fellow holiday enthusiasts. Speaking with the local news, Johnson said, “As it picked up in popularity, it changed and I wanted to make everyone happy. With so much negativity in society it’s nice to have something positive to entertain people.”
We couldn’t agree more. The well-arranged display isn’t just for entertaining families across the country. This year, the family has partnered with Living Water International to raise money. Living Water International is a faith-based, non-profit organization that helps communities in developing countries around the world create sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene programs.
Crowds of people now make their way to the Johnson’s home in the gated Windgate Ranch community to enjoy the show.
How spectacular is that?
