Major cities in England are going out of their way to make sure that animals have the right of way.
The cities of London, Birmingham and Manchester have started a temporary new initiative to encourage people to be more mindful of the animals on the road when they are driving or biking. They marked a white line on the road and paint the silhouette of a duck on it, signifying the duck lane.
“We’ve painted in duck lanes on the tow path, just to highlight that there’s only so much space you can share and there’s probably ducks that need the priority,” Dick Vincent, a London Towpath Ranger told ruptly.tv.
This is an adorable way for a city to take care of their animals. Check out the pictures below!
