It was a brisk winter night when one South Dakota woman heard some commotion coming from outside her window. She peeked through the curtains and noticed a strange man dumping a suspicious looking bag into her garbage bin.
Braving the below zero temperatures, the curious lady walked out to her trash can and opened the lid. What she discovered inside absolutely SHOCKEDÂ her.
Inside the abandoned bag lay six tiny puppies, all less than ten days old! She quickly contacted the local Humane Society where the poor puppies were taken in to be provided with around-the-clock care. At such a young age, the puppies could not yet see or hear, but the good people at the Humane Society are doing their best to nurse these puppies back to good health without the help of their mother.
It baffles me that someone could be so cruel to leave a littler of 6 adorable puppies, alone in a garbage bin, left to freeze to death. I am SO thankful for this woman and her investigative instincts!
