In 1967, the King of Rock and Roll had a very successful music career. He was unbelievably wealthy and qualified as the world’s most eligible bachelor. While many believed he would never settle down, he ended up tying the knot with Priscilla Ann Wagner.

When Elvis and Priscilla met in 1959, she was only 14, and they stayed connected throughout his time in the Army. In 1967, he married the young beauty and the couple had their daughter Lisa Marie the following year.

When you see clips of women freaking out over Elvis during his performances, it’s clear that there will never be another singer with Elvis’ star power. Just like the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011, when Elvis and Priscilla married, the whole world was watching. Elvis and Priscilla were married at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas by Elvis’ manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

Known for his eccentric costumes on stage, he opted for a classic black tuxedo at his wedding. He looked so handsome! The couple’s first dance? Of course, they had to pick one of Elvis’ biggest hits, “Love Me Tender.”

Sadly, the marriage was short-lived, and the couple got a divorce some five years later. But as you watch the beautiful, rare footage from the big day, you will definitely get the sense that their love was eternal.
