In 2008, a kayaker went on a voyage to find himself, but ended up stumbling upon something that left the world in wonder. Deep within the Broken Group Islands in Canda buried between rocks and trees was a mysterious rock etching that appears to look like a large face on a cliff.
He did what any man in complete wanderlust would do, he snapped pictures of his discovery and sent coordinates to a government agency in Parks Canada, who knew that this particular area was Tseshaht territory, an aboriginal area. They then sent the information over to Hank Gus of the Tseshaht First Nation, who went to search for the “face in the rocks,” but no such luck.
After two years of searching they finally came face to face with … the face! When you see it you’ll be in complete awe!
Now Hank and researchers are trying to figure out if the face is man-made or one of mother natures marvels. Regardless, it’s a sighting that will take your breath away.
