This dad just made it very hard for any of the men in this little girl’s future to measure up.
Reddit dad radamshome, aka ‘Dad of the Century’, built a magical tree in his 6-year-old daughter Lia’s bedroom, and shared the phenomenal craftsmanship for the Reddit DIY community.
It’s an awe-inspiring project, one that includes an inside reading area, climbable branches, a fairy door, and glittery butterflies.
Essentially, all the things that little girls’ dreams are made of.

The elaborate design required about 350 hours and over 18 months at a cost of $4,250. According to Shareably, dad said, “”My daughter wanted a fairy tree in her room that she could sit inside and read books.”

Her wish was his command! The beautiful layout allows the young princess to read in the trunk of the tree and climb the branches as well. The project required the 44-year-old video game designer to learn many skills, like welding.

The tree trunk is made of a rebar frame covered with mesh and a thin layer of concrete. The bark was painted to look more realistic. The paint and the flowery decor added to the room’s ambience.

Dad also admits that “he was unprepared for the physical realities of the project.” In the end, job well done!
