When Daniel and Ciera Woods had a special announcement to make to all their extended family and friends, they weren’t quite sure how to share the big news at first. After just a short time thinking about it though, the couple came up with the most creative and fun way to set up the big reveal for their relatives. They told them all to sit down for a video interview. What Daniel and Ciera’s friends and family weren’t told, is that they weren’t really going to be asked any questions at all.

Instead, they were all being gathered on camera so that their reactions to the couple’s big announcement could be caught on video. No one in the family had any idea what was coming.

It’s easy to see by their reactions to the message, which was written on a white board and given to the couple’s parents, that everyone was completely caught by surprise. The message, which the soon-to-be grandparents didn’t even read at first, but just held up for the camera obediently, read “Grandparents Starting in 2016.”

Watching the entire family react to the message in slow-motion, before the parents even have a chance to read the note, is so touching. We highly recommend taking a moment to watch this short but sweet baby reveal video.
