While most people only get to see deer from a distance, there are times when humans get to cross paths with these beautiful creatures. These two men got lucky and got to interact with a fawn in a way they would have never expected.

Justin Lewis and his co-worker were clearing a path for electric lines when they discovered a little fawn that was tangled in thorns in the woods.

After they cut him loose he was shaking and scared so they began to rub his belly to calm him down.

Not only did this technique work but it worked a little too well! Every time they would try to set the fawn down and get back to work he would start crying!

Even after they were finally able to set him down, he followed them around the site for an hour before heading back into the woods towards his mom.

This little Bambi is going to have quite a bit of explaining to do to his momma!
