Any woman will tell you that being proposed might be one of the happiest days of her life. And while getting married requires a lot of preparation, many brides-to-be look forward to the wedding planning process. Imagine going through two years of preparation only to be dumped by text. That was enough to send one Florida woman over the edge. Instead of losing her mind, she decided to destroy her wedding gown.
It was the week of her nuptials when Kilee Manulak got word it was all over. “I just kind of went numb,” she told a local news station. “And my maid of honor, my mom, and my family and all my friends just kinda helped me call people and just let ’em know the wedding was over.”
Imagine the devastation! But Color Fun Fest was soon approaching. The Color Fun Fest brings the Holi Festival and the electronic dance movement together with a day and night glowing color 5K run. That gave Kilee the best idea. During the fest, she and her bridesmaids ruined their dresses meant for the wedding.
The group of women was seen tossing colored powder, staining their gowns together. “It was actually very liberating,” she said. “I don’t want a pity party. I just want to have fun with it.”
And that she did! What do you think about her approach?
