Photo Of Firefighter Calming An Injured Child Is Going Viral For All The Right Reasons

First responders are quite literally heroes walking among us. They put their lives in danger to save people they’ve never met and run into the places that everyone else is running out of. They are, simply put, amazing people.

Though most will never get the attention they deserve, it is nice when a story or photo of a first responder is shared, as it is a reminder of what these people do for us day in and day out.

After an SUV containing one adult driver and five children suddenly flipped, fellow drivers acted immediately. Many pulled over to attempt to help the passengers and stayed with the victims until ambulances and firefighters arrived — and some even stayed long after.

Thanks to a photo taken by one of those people who stayed at the scene until all passengers were transported to the hospital, we can now see just how dedicated first responders are to those they are fighting to protect.

In the picture, we see firefighter Casey Lessard of Minnesota lying down on the floor with an injured child. If you look closer, you can see that Lessard is showing the child clips from “Happy Feet” using his smart phone. Because of Lessard’s dedication and creative ways, the little one was able to rest and be properly cared for by medics while he waited to be transported to the hospital.

A huge thank you to Lessard and all of the first responders out there. Here’s wishing the family in the SUV a safe and speedy delivery.

SHARE the love and pass it on!
