When a disastrous flood hit this small town, locals were hindered from traveling as the onslaught of water made it impossible to drive.

Onlookers lined the sidewalks, snapping photos of one particular street that was flooded with water over 11 feet deep.

Off in the distance, there are sirens that can be heard, the shrill sound slowly becoming louder and louder. Soon, a bright red fire truck begins making its way towards the obstructed street, with no signs of slowing down.

Without hesitation, the truck plummets blindly into the water. But what I thought would trigger an immediate halt to the trucks motion, hardly affects the vehicle at all. Instead, the truck plows right along through the flooded street.

I don’t know about you, but this video makes me sleep a little safer knowing that in any state of an emergency, that fire truck will be there to save you!
