Budi is a baby orangutan that was living life with many odds against him. For his first year of life, he was abused and neglected, left in a chicken cage and fed nothing but condensed milk that was slowly killing him. It didn’t take long for International Animal Rescue to get involve and rescue the little guy from his unhealthy living situation. But what they discovered was that he was lonely, afraid and incredibly sick!

Watch little Budi go through his recovery process at the local animal hospital. His body is bloated and his limbs are bent from malnutrition. When doctor’s lift him up to weigh him or feed him, he cries, expressing what pain we can only imagine he’s going through. A team of experts are currently working around the clock to monitor baby Budhi, but also need your help to care for this adorable promising monkey!
