With passion behind her voice, “feminist” blogger named Lana shares her story with the world. But Lana’s pregnancy story not only shocked me to my core, but instantly sparked outrage.

“I was in shock, I started crying, weeping at the thought of what I was about to curse the world with.” Lana was about to “curse” the world with something many women would consider a miracle.

She found out she was expecting, but it wasn’t until she determined it was a boy that she made the decision to have an abortion.

Although the controversial topic of abortion strikes emotions for us all, the thought of terminating a pregnancy solely based on the gender of the baby is absolutely heartless. Lana’s family and friends have stopped communication with her, and the public has shared their anger.

She says, “I don’t hate men, I hate the patriarchy, what men, and even some women, turn into, I wasn’t going to let that happen with my offspring. The chances were greater that it would with a male, it was unacceptable.”

Because of the backlash from the public and her loved ones, Lana responded saying this heart-wrenching decision was “liberating” and that she would do the same thing all over again “if the curse returns.”
