Nine-year-old Sydney Smoot is wise beyond her years.

The Brockville Elementary fourth grader recently addressed the members of the Hernando County School Board and everyone was shocked by what she had to say.

Sydney gave a clear, concise and confident opinion on testing in schools and the audience couldn’t believe it was coming from a nine-year-old! Everyone behind her seemed to agree with her opinion of school testing so hopefully the school board did too!
