Karen Cheng stands tall on stage with a checkered table equipped for a basic breakfast placed right beside her. She stares out into the audience and the music begins.

Out shoots one arm, followed by the other, perfectly in sync with mechanical noises. In one of the best impersonations of ‘The Robot’ that I’ve ever seen, Karen plays out an entire skit, all while staying in robot mode the entire time.

At first she clumsily pours the box of cereal into the bowl, which is followed by an even messier pour from the milk carton. The crowd roars in laughter!

For the grand finale, Karen attempts to lift the glass of orange juice to her mouth. When she dumps its entire contents all over her “robot” body, she goes into an electrical frenzy.

Not only is Karen’s performance strangely impressive, it is super comical!
