When Danielle Busby went into labor, she knew her life was about to completely change.
Like most mothers, she was anxious to welcome the tiny bundle of joy into the world. But Busby, was about to have her hands full!
She gave birth to the first set of surviving quintuplet girls in the United States.
She tells TODAY that this moment was a true “emotional downpour!”
The babies were delivered healthy in only four minutes by C-section. Each miniature baby weighed between two pounds and two pounds, six ounces.
The Texas family already has one little 4-year-old girl, so this household is going to be FULL of estrogen! Dad better know what he’s getting himself into – he’s about to have six little girls running around the house! From their first steps, to their first day of elementary school, and to the much-dreaded first date, Dad has quite the challenge ahead of him!
Mom says her precious little girls are doing well and continues to pray for their strength and health, each and every day. These five angels are making history!
