Eva Goeb of Franklin, Indiana was beyond surprised that her son and his wife had come home from the Air Force Base in Hawaii. What she did not know was they had an even bigger special surprise for her. This recent grandma had yet to meet her little bundle of joy- until today.

Baby Lily was adopted by Eva’s son Donny and his wife, Miranda. In an interview with WTHR news, the new mom said, “We chose not to tell our families due to so many unknowns. We wanted to protect our hearts and theirs. We were taking a huge leap of faith. Once the baby Lily was officially placed with us, to become our daughter, we decided that it was not the type of news to be shared over the phone.”

Needless to say, Grandma was ecstatic to finally meet Baby Lilly, and her reaction says it all!
