Maybe it is their new discovery of the world that makes them so darn adorable. It is no secret that their infantile features and behaviors are so adorable that we can watch them over and over again.

In the Kruger National Park in South Africa, tourists spotted a tiny elephant in the middle of the road. What they didn’t expect was for a cuteness overload!

Watch as this infant runs back and forth across the road chasing birds in complete happiness! The calf’s tail waving all around prove he’s having the time of his life.

His elders are on both sides of the road, and he takes turns visiting them for a quick second before he runs back into the flock of birds. The tourists can’t help but stare and when you see just how adorable he is, you’ll understand why.
