The doors have been closed to this Tri-County Truck Stop in Villa Ridge, Mo., with no inhabitants for years. But locals know the reason that leaves both skeptics and ghostbusters hesitant to take a step inside.

In 2012, a team of ghostbusters from St. Louis called the Paranormal Task Force, made the decision once and for all. The team went into the old truck stop at 9:30pm and discovered what they all hoped were rumors. The president recalls a coffee pot crashing down on the floor the moment they walked in.

The video below shows an experience in the basement of the Tri-County Truck Stop. The team walked into the basement, not sure what to expect, and set up a camera to capture everything they saw.
