Flashback to 62 years ago, when these two teens fell madly in love. Jack, who is now an 81-year-old veteran, met the love of his life, Betty, in the halls of his high school. He was deployed right after graduation, and Betty was married soon after.

The pair hadn’t made contact for decades until, thanks to modern technology, they were able to reconnect on the Internet! So like any real gentleman, Jack flew across the country from California to reunite with his long-lost love in Virginia!

This impromptu film was created because Jack’s seat-mate happened to be a filmmaker named Danielle Lurie. She knew this was a story that someone had to share! Lurie immediately began recording their reunion, capturing the first time the high school sweethearts saw each other – after six whole decades!
