Childbirth, although painful, is one of the most beautiful things in the world.

After carrying a child for nine months, delivery day is when they finally get to meet their precious little one(s).

When photographer Kathy Rosario heard that her friend was planning a home water birth, she knew she wanted to be the one to be there and capture it. She was able to capture the most stunningly beautiful photos of the moments before and after the birth of her friends baby. What a miracle!

While water births aren’t an option for everyone, her friend was young, healthy and a great candidate for a home birth.

Even moments before she gave birth, she looked so incredibly calm, knowing that her baby was on it’s way.

Mom has waited until birth to find out the sex of the baby and … it’s a girl!

Both mom and baby are healthy, well and so excited to share these beautiful pictures with the world. Congratulations mom!
