1 in every 30 kids in the United States are homeless, a staggering statistic that we often overlook. In OckTV’s recent social experiment, they decided to see just how society reacts to needy homeless children on the streets.

Watch as a young boy pretends to be a homeless child on the streets of New York. Only wearing a ripped t-shirt and jeans, and holding a garbage bag and a sign asking for food and clothes, he begs for any passerby to offer him a helping hand. Two hours go by and receives nothing, until one man walks up to him and hands him his jacket. That man, too, is homeless.

When you hear what words of kindness he has to say to this child, you’ll surely be moved to tears. It’s no wonder why OckTV decide to reward this man with something he never saw coming!
