Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple years, or have no interest in spicing up your food, then you have at least heard of Sriracha. Throughout this past decade, Sriracha has become so popular it’s gained a cult-like following.
Go to any restaurant and you’re guaranteed to see a bottle of Sriracha. Many of my friends love it so much they practically put it on everything they eat. Some people go so far as to have bottles of it on their key chains!
If you’re like most people, you’re a fan of this uniquely spicy condiment and if you’re ready to take your love of spiciness one step further, then this video is for you. In this video Lisa Murphy from Sosu Sauces show us how to make our very own Sriracha!
She starts off the video by sharing a very interesting piece of information — Sriracha is often confused with a brand, but it’s actually a chili sauce that originated in Southeast Asia. It’s named after Sriracha, a town in Thailand.
Who knew?! She then goes into the recipe and process of how to make this sweet, spicy and tangy sauce.
Watch the video below to learn what ingredients you’ll need and exactly how to make it. SHARE the love and pass it on!
