YouTube crafting pro Jamie Pettito is always coming up with fresh ideas on how to take old items and transform them into a new and improved addition to your home.

I love the whole idea of ‘upcycling,’ so her projects are perfect for me. If I can repurpose something I already have lying around the house, I get pretty darn excited!

This particular DIY endeavor takes an item that you may not necessarily find in the house, but you most likely have in your backyard. I’m talking about tree branches. That’s right – this craft takes one of Mother Nature’s offspring and uses it for something totally unexpected – a jewelry stand!

First, she makes sure the branch is sturdily situated in a small pot or container using clay and marbles. Then, she spruces the branch up with some paint, but you could certainly leave your jewelry tree au natural for a more rustic look.

Once the paint dries, simply dangle your jewelry on the branches in whatever way looks most aesthetically pleasing to you! And there you have it, one DIY jewelry tree coming right up!
