For many people, wrapping gifts is paramount, especially if they have love for crafty stuff. This time of year affords those type of people the opportunity to put that skill to good use. For others, gift wrapping and bow tying do not come that easy. I think a pretty bow on the top of a gift is almost as important as the contents inside. Well, maybe not. What do you think? Many like to think a bow is a bow is a bow, right? And it’s no different than tying a shoe, yes? Well, not exactly. Here is the perfect way to tie a bow.
After you have wrapped your gift, choose your design of ribbon. Then, wrap it around the present and twist. Next, pass it under the gift, tie a knot, and cut the excess. Be sure to leave some ribbon loose as it will be needed a little later.
Using your hand, wrap the ribbon around a total of 10 times. Next, fold in half and cut the edges at one end. Open the fold and tie to the ribbon on the gift. Be sure to knot tightly and cut off the excess ribbon. Pull the loops apart bring them toward the center, and there you would have just created the perfect bow. Literally!
How easy was that?
SHARE the love and pass it on.
