What happens when two kindred spirits, no matter the species, meet? They make magic. That’s what happened when this little boy took his first trip to the zoo.

Instead of being scared by the gorilla and vice versa, the two engaged in a darling display of inter-species bonding, stopping everyone in their tracks to embrace all of its cuteness! 

The boy’s parents say he loves gorillas and that he immediately began beating his chest like a gorilla when the family entered the exhibit at the Columbus Zoo, which got the gorilla’s attention. The two fun-loving souls played for nearly five minutes until the gorilla and little fella ran out of energy.
