With the warmer weather of spring comes more time to enjoy all Mother Nature has to offer. When this adventurous family went out for a nice leisurely stroll through the park, they noticed something peculiar in the grass.

Almost completely camouflaged in the green, they spotted a hummingbird struggling in the lawn. When they took a closer look, they found that the poor creature’s feathers were stuck on a chewed up piece of gum, which had been carelessly thrown into the grass.

The father gets down on his hands and knees to carefully pull the bird free. Meanwhile, his adorable son provides supplemental commentary in the background that will bring a smile to your face!

In the end, the bird is happily set free! Nonetheless, this video is a very good reminder of the negative effects littering can have on us and all the little friends that share the Earth with us.
