Want A Unique Spin On Bread? Make It With Ice Cream!

Angela Markus

Everyone loves ice cream. On occasion you might come across the incongruous individual that doesn’t, but that is rare. Who could resist mouthfuls of rich creamy chocolate ice cream, or vanilla, or a mixture of mango, litchi, and orange? Sure, ice cream contains sugar, it’s not perfect, but it is still some good stuff! If you told me it could be made into bread, I would ask, “What are you talking about Willis?”

The Simple Cooking Channel on YouTube shows us how to make Ice Cream Bread with 2 ingredients. For this masterpiece, you will need 2 cups of soft vanilla ice cream and 1 ½ cups of self-raising flour. This kitchen genius says that if you do not have self-raising flour, regular flour will do. Just be sure to add 2 teaspoons of baking powder and ½ teaspoon of salt.

To a medium-sized bowl, he adds the ice cream and some of the flour. He then mixes before adding another portion of the flour, mixing that well. He adds the last portion and ensures the flour is fully incorporated.

He then greases a bread baking pan and adds the mixture. He bakes at 375°F for about 50 minutes. He allows it to cool for a couple of minutes before placing on a rack.

This has to the best creation in history! SHARE the love, pass it on.
