I hope I’m not the only one who never knew you could bake Mason jars in the oven! I always knew these canning jars were perfect for homemade jam or savory tomato sauce, but I didn’t think it was possible to bake a cake in one. So clever!

Simply combine your ingredients in each Mason jar, place in a square-shaped baking dish, add some dry beans so they don’t slide around and bake for one hour. Then, voilà! Enjoy these simple and decadent cakes that you can take with you where ever you go.
