Millions of dogs and cats enter the shelter each year, where only half are being adopted into loving homes. The remainder? Put down to make room for the other dogs and cats to potentially be someone’s loving pet. As heart breaking as this information is, there is an organization out there changing things for the better.

Now, dogs are being sent to prison- but not for what you think! Rather than throwing both human and canine lives away, this program allows for dogs and prisoners to create bonds that could last a lifetime. The prisoners rehabilitate the dogs and the dogs rehabilitate the prisoners.
