Have your kids been acting up? Well, an Atlanta barbershop may have the perfect solution. At A-1 Kutz, parents can bring in their misbehaving kids and ask for the “Benjamin Button Special,” which the team of barbers offer free of charge.  The kids are then sat down in the chair and given a haircut that resembles that of a a balding old man!

The point of this novel form of discipline is to embarrass the kids into shaking their unruly behavior and getting back on track. The father of the child in this video said that his 12-year-old son’s grades were in need of a heavy duty overhaul. While some people disagree with this kind of humiliation as a punishment, after the haircut, the boy’s grades skyrocketed. So after all, there may be more to this type of discipline than we thought! 

I’m not sure if I would ever do this to my kid, but sometimes when conventional ways of discipline don’t work, you’ve got to get a little creative! What do you think?!
