It was the kindhearted act of one 5-year-old boy that was able to bring an entire restaurant to tears.

When Josiah Duncan noticed a homeless man perched outside of a Waffle House, he innocuously asked his mother to buy the man a meal, to which she graciously agreed.

However, when the man took the duo up on their offer and procured a seat in the restaurant, he was reportedly ignored by the restaurant staff.

Taking matters into his own hands, Josiah quickly sprung up to bring the homeless man a menu and took his order. But this little boy’s gestures of kindness didn’t stop here. 

As the man received his burger, Josiah had one last thing to do, bless the food. The precious child sang in a confident voice, “God our Father, God our Father, we thank you, we thank you, for our many blessings, for our many blessings, Amen, Amen.”

The incredibly heartwarming moment left everyone in tears. “The man cried. I cried. Everybody cried,” Josiah’s mother exclaimed.
