Louisiana is a melting pot of French, African and American cultures most reflected in its tangy cuisine, French dialect and bluesy zydeco. From the rhythm and blues of Louis Armstrong, to the spicy flavors of Paul Prudhomme, Louisiana is rich in so much culture, no other place that can compare. That’s why we’re striving to bring the flavors of The Big Easy into your kitchen with this undeniable recipe straight from the soul- Louisiana Fried Ravioli!
Take a spin off the traditional pasta recipe and gather oil, flour, eggs, Italian bread crumbs, and your favorite stuffed ravioli. First, smother the ravioli in flour until completely covered. Then, dip the floured ravioli into the eggs until nice and soaked. Next, place the ravioli into the Italian bread crumbs until completely coated. Place to the side until your desired amount of raviolis are prepped for frying.
Fry your prepped raviolis with care for 2-3 minutes. Then, place sizzling raviolis on a plate to soak and settle. Combine your Louisiana Fried Ravioli with a side of marinara or your choice of dipping sauce, and you’ve got yourself a southern delicacy!
