Have you ever seen a sign that maybe someone that had passed was with you? This is what Amy Cutler saw when she was hired to take some pictures.

When Katlyn Mitchell and her boyfriend Jeff found out they were pregnant they were over the moon. Sadly a few months later the little family would suffer a great tragedy.

Jeff, who was a fire fighter, was sent off to a house fire. When he was leaving the house the porch collapsed and landed on top of Jeff. Jeff hung on to life as long as he possibly could, wanting to meet his child. Sadly his injuries were too great and he passed away a week later.

Katlyn was left to deal with his loss and the reality of being a single parent. Jeff did not make it long enough to find out that their precious little baby was a boy but she knows he would have been thrilled.

Katlyn hired Amy to take maternity pictures for her and she had one special request. She had asked Amy to take a picture of Jeff and see if she could photoshop him into the picture. As she took the picture that would later have the photo of the fallen fire fighter in it, she was surprised by what she saw.

All around Katlyn there were butterflies. They were flying all over the background and in the picture. It was that picture that Amy used when she photoshopped Jeff in.

It was as if Jeff was looking on and watching over Katlyn and their baby boy.

Their baby boy may not know his dad but I’m sure that Katlyn will keep the memory of Jeff alive and let their baby boy know how amazing and strong his dad was and how proud of him they should be. SHARE the love and pass it on!
