Here is the coolest DIY ever. The luxurious finish of anything marble has such a refined and gorgeous look, especially for home products. Sugar and Cloth show us how to create Marble Dipped vessels that perfectly replicates its expensive cohorts. The real-faux marble finish uses nail polish, and the result is rich.
You will need gray and black nail polish, white ceramic vessels, a plastic bowl, warm water, a plastic fork or utensil for stirring, and plastic cups.
As elegant as these pieces are, the entire process is quite straightforward. It is important to move quickly as the nail polish will rapidly dry in the water and not stick to your vessel. What is worse, it will leave weird bubbles and a funky overlap, and we do not want that!

First, mix three droplets of grey nail polish and one droplet of the black nail polish. Then quickly stir the mixture, and dip the vessel in at a 45-degree angle. Make a twisting motion with your hand so that the design swirls all the around the vase. Let it set by flipping the vessel upside down until it’s dry to the touch.

Repeat the entire process for each vessel. You can remove any excess dried nail polish in between coats by swirling the plastic utensil around the bowl to scoop the bad part out.
