These DIY Delectable Desserts In Mason Jars Are The Perfect Last Minute Gift!

There are some people on your Christmas list that are always hard to shop for. Instead of going insane trying to find the perfect gift, how about a Mason jar dessert? You can never go wrong with food! Mason jar desserts recipes make perfect homemade Christmas gifts. Give your loved one the perfect ending to meal with one of these individually portioned and totally portable desserts.

First, Nutty Cranberry Mix. You will need 1 ¼ cup buttermilk, ½ cup unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 large eggs, ½ cup dried cranberries, 1 cup chopped walnuts, ½ cup sugar, ¼ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 2 ½ cups biscuit mix. Layer, starting with the biscuit mix, add a decorative lid, and affix the label.

For the next dessert, you will layer ½ cup of sugar, ½ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup cocoa powder, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon baking soda, 1 ¼ cup flour, 2/3 cup chocolate chips, 2/3 cups toffee bits, and 2/3 cups white chips in the jar. Add a pretty lid and attach label. When you are ready to make the dessert, you will add 1 stick softened butter, and an egg. Mix the ingredients together and roll into 1-inch balls. Bake 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.

The last dessert—Yummy Bar Mix. In the Mason jar, you will layer 2 cups biscuits mix, 1 cup brown sugar, ½ cup quick oats, and ½ cup M&Ms. Add lid and affix a label with the remaining ingredients. ½ cup unsalted butter, 1 large egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
