Learn How To Make Fudge In The Microwave — It’s TOO Easy!

Erika Carter

If you’re anything like me, you have a sweet tooth that seems impossible to satisfy! I really try to cut back on my sugar intake but it seems like there’s always room for dessert.

When it comes to sweet treats, my go-to is always chocolate. Come on, who doesn’t love some delicious fudge?! For any sweet tooth or chocolate lover, fudge is always a great delight during holidays, special occasions or even a ‘just because’ treat!

Though the thought of making fudge may seem a little intimidating at first (especially for those who have never made fudge), but adding a microwave into the equation makes it a whole lot easier! With a recipe this easy, there is no excuse not to make fudge whenever you are having a chocolate craving! The only hard part about this recipe is waiting to eat it! Now, let’s get started!

First things first, you’re going to need:

3 Cups of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1 14-oz can of Sweetened Condensed Milk

4 Tbsp. of Butter

1 Tsp. of Vanilla Extract

¼ Tsp. of Salt

Now comes the fun part — making it!

Start by lining an 8 x 8 pan with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. In a microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk and butter. Microwave the ingredients for one minute then stir.

If ingredients were cold before microwaving, an additional 30 seconds may be needed. Make sure that after stirring all the ingredients have melted together into a smooth consistency. Next you will need to add the salt and vanilla and stir well. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth it into an even layer with a spatula.

Place the fudge in the refrigerator to set for at least two hours. After the two hours are complete, remove fudge and foil from pan and with the help of the non-stick cooking spray, peel the foil off of the fudge. Cut fudge into squares with a sharp knife and enjoy!

Congrats, you are now an expert on the art of fudge making!
